1. Loggerhead Turtle -
25,000 gallon tank includes sea bass, sharks, weakfish, loggerhead turle, gray tigerfish, tautog, crevalle jacks, striped bass, flounder, black drum, needle fish, blue fish and more.

2. Tropical Beauties -
1,500 gallon tank with Emperor angelfish, clownfish, squirrel fish, whitemouth morays and more.

3. Coral Reef -
A constantly growing exhibit. See the different types of coral including elephant ear, trumpet ear, mushroom, moon coral and more.

4. Moray Eels -
This 750 gallon tank features Moray Eels weighing up to 50 pounds.

5. Touch Tank -
This 750 gallon tank has all kinds of sea animals children can touch with the supervision of an instructor.

6. Venomous Fish
Featuring poisonous Lion fish.

7. Moon Jellyfish
Our newest exhibit feature moon jellies in their 300 gallon home.

8. Octavia the Octopus-
Octavia camouflages herself by changing her colors to blend with her surroundings. She is very intelligent and fun to watch.

9. Exhibit Room -
Contains nautical exhibits changing periodically.

10. Gift Shop -
A selection of gifts to take home and remind you of your visit to the Ocean Life Center at Gardner's Basin. Individual and family memberships also available here.

11. Video Monitors -
Presentation of maritime movies, lectures and video feed from observation decks.

Steer the Captain's Wheel while watching classic nautical movies.

2. Sea Sights and Sounds -
Mural of deep sea animals linked to recordings of their sounds for this "See & Say" experience.

3. Did You Know? -
A changing exhibit with artifacts of the sea as they relate to historical figures.

4. Harbor View Center -
Meeting room with view of Gardner's Basin. Wall paintings from the Coast Guard collection.

5. National Estuary Exhibit -
Design of the Mullica River with a mural showing a birds-eye view and cross section of the estuary from the highlands through the back bays and into the ocean. Features natural, live habitat including frogs and diamond back turtles.

6. Amazon Fresh Water Fish -
Over 300 gallons of fresh water fish.

7. The Art of Sailing -
Learn the challenges of sailing hands-on with this model sailboat & wind tunnel. Steer your way to safety.

8. Computer Ocean Life Learning Center -
Seventeen computer terminals packed with information for you from selected web sites and CD-ROMS about the marine environment.

9. Ocean Rubbings -
Children create their own Ocean Life center souvenirs with crayons and paper on these rubbings tables of sea designs.

10. Moth Boat -
Traditional Atlantic City sailing vessel from the Eastern Star Yacht club.

The wee ones will be fascinated as they toddle through our maritime maze. Perfect photo opportunity for mom and dad.

1. The Observation Gallery -

Here you see the Absecon Inlet, the Intercoastal Waterway and the Atlantic Ocean.

2. The Open Observation Deck -
An open view of the vast expanse of bay, ocean and Northeastern inlet section of Atlantic City, Gardner's Basin and neighboring Brigantine Island.

3. The Sunset Walk -
An unobstructed, breathtaking view of the end of the day as the sun disappears from view. Those that thought such glorious sunsets were confined to Key West, Florida will quickly change their minds after their initial viewing.

4. The Widow's Walk -
So named because in the days when tall ships left East Coast ports for shipping, fishing and whaling, the Victorian homes had an open walkway at the top of their houses. Here, a captain's wife would walk, looking at the vast ocean before her wondering when she would see the return of her husband's ship. And, if the ship would not return...you understand the name given to this part of the building: "Widow's Walk."
